Assassin's Creed Odyssey Legacy of the First Blade Episode 2 Out Now

Ubisoft have already released Episode 1 to their first Assassin’s Creed Odyssey DLC Episode, and now players will be able to download Episode 2 (of 3).

“In Shadow Heritage, a letter from Darius leads players to investigate a mystery through which the hero will come face to face with a new threat, The Tempest, a mastermind of naval battle who commands her own fleet. With her superior naval techniques and deadly weaponry, she will stop at nothing to ensure the hero’s demise.”

While the first episode brought a new Assassin ability, this episode will come with a new Hunter ability - Rapid Fire.

“It will allow players to rapidly shoot arrows without having to reload with the firing speed increasing with each skill level and will be a valuable skill to all players, not only those with a Hunter playstyle.”

ASSASSIN’S CREED® ODYSSEY LEGACY OF THE FIRST BLADE, EPISODE 2, NOW AVAILABLE

Battle The Tempest and Unravel a New Mystery in the Latest Story Arc Episode

Montreal— January 15, 2019 — Today, Ubisoft announced that Shadow Heritage, the second episode in the first post-launch story arc for Assassin’s Creed® Odyssey Legacy of the First Blade, is now available across all available platforms.

In Shadow Heritage, a letter from Darius leads players to investigate a mystery through which the hero will come face to face with a new threat, The Tempest, a mastermind of naval battle who commands her own fleet. With her superior naval techniques and deadly weaponry, she will stop at nothing to ensure the hero’s demise.

Each episode of Legacy of the First Blade will feature a new ability for each branch of the skill tree: Hunter, Warrior and Assassin. The first episode, Hunted, introduced a new Assassin ability, and in Shadow Heritage players will discover a new Hunter ability, Rapid Fire. It will allow players to rapidly shoot arrows without having to reload with the firing speed increasing with each skill level and will be a valuable skill to all players, not only those with a Hunter playstyle.

To access Shadow Heritage, players must have completed Hunted, the first episode of Legacy of the First Blade, and the Naxos questline in Chapter 7 of the main story of the game, and must have reached character level 28 or above.

The Assassin’s Creed Odyssey post-launch plan is the biggest and most ambitious in the franchise, and the launch of Legacy of the First Blade is just the beginning for players who wish to progress further with new content in Ancient Greece. Season pass owners will access two major episodic storylines, Legacy of the First Blade and The Fate of Atlantis. Players can dive into new episodes as they premiere, or experience the epic adventures in their entirety once all episodes are available. The season pass also includes Assassin’s Creed® III Remastered and Assassin’s Creed® Liberation Remastered and will be released this March.

The Assassin’s Creed Odyssey Season Pass, which includes the two story arcs Legacy of the First Blade and The Fate of Atlantis, can be purchased for $49.99. Legacy of the First Blade is also available separately for $34.99. The first episode, Hunted, and second episode, Shadow Heritage, are now downloadable for players who already own the season pass or Gold Edition. The third episode of Legacy of the First Blade will complete the story arc beginning of March.

UBISOFT REVEALS FAR CRY® NEW DAWN AT THE GAME AWARDS
Next Chapter of Far Cry Introduces a Spectacular Post-Apocalyptic World

LOS ANGELES — December 6, 2018 — Today at The Game Awards, Ubisoft unveiled Far Cry® New Dawn, the newest installment of the award-winning Far Cry franchise. Set in a breathtaking post-apocalyptic world, Far Cry New Dawn will release on February 15, 2019 for PlayStation®4 computer entertainment system, the Xbox One family of devices including Xbox One X and Windows PC. Set seventeen years after a global nuclear catastrophe, Far Cry New Dawn brings players into a wildly beautiful and radically transformed Hope County, Montana. Life has begun to emerge from the chaos, but the survivors now face a new threat – the merciless Highwaymen and their leaders The Twins, Mickey and Lou. Raised in a lawless frontier, the twin sisters and their band of scavengers live only for today and have descended upon Hope County to take all available resources. To push back this devastating threat, players must help the Survivors grow stronger, craft a makeshift arsenal and form unexpected alliances to fight for survival in a dangerous new frontier.

At the Homebase, players will prepare to face off against the threat of the Highwaymen. The Homebase, called Prosperity, is the stronghold of the Survivors. Here, players can craft makeshift weapons and vehicles and train their Guns for Hire – including new and familiar faces. As players progress, they can upgrade the Homebase for more powerful weapons and gear. The Homebase is also a launchpad to Expeditions, where for the first time in Far Cry, the adventure is more than local. Set in memorable locations across the US, from wetlands to canyons and more, Expeditions drop players into unique locations where they must grab a package of valuable materials and get out, quickly.

Developed by Ubisoft Montreal with support from Ubisoft Shanghai, Ubisoft Kiev and Ubisoft Bucharest, Far Cry New Dawn is a first-person shooter set in a completely open world. The standalone sequel to Far Cry® 5, Far Cry New Dawn thrusts players into a brilliant post-apocalyptic setting where they will encounter a dual threat – The Twins, Mickey and Lou.
