Foxhole Leaves Early Access After 5 Years
Toronto-based Siege Camp (@SiegeCamp)’s massively multiplayer war game Foxhole has finally left early access on Steam after five years.
This launch coincides with the Inferno update which brings many big features to the persistent wargame.
“An overhauled logistics game, trains, and an arsenal of new weapons, the Inferno update allows players to create unique transportation systems, infrastructure, and industrial facilities that will redefine how logistics supports the thousands of players on the frontline,” says the studio.
The game originally launched in July 2017 and hit an impressive 4,800 plus concurrent player peak within two weeks. Since then the game has been steadily growing in players with tens of thousands of Steam reviews and an estimated 650,000 copies sold according to SteamSpy.
