Toronto-based indie solo dev Neil LaPointe (@LeBatardHarry) has released his first (but hopefully not last) game GUNPIG: Firepower for Hire on itch.io.

Join alien pest control specialist and possibly shortest merc in the galaxy Bax as he fights to clear Stalwart Academy, a school space station, from a rogue horde of robot space monsters!

GUNPIG: Firepower for Hire features classic arcade shoot-'em-up action, with 8 levels, 9 weapons, bonus collectables and hidden secrets. The game has a full soundtrack by Mike Mirabello (Tower of Guns, Mothergunship) with a bonus track by The Mysterious Breakmaster Cylinder (@BrkmstrCylinder) who’s done music for high-profile podcasts like Vox’s Today, Explained (one of Stephan’s absolute favourites, always great beats).
