Beenox, Activision Stealth-Release Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Campaign Remastered on PS4
/ Stephen CraneQuébec City-based (wholly-owned subsidiary of Activision) development studio Beenox (@BeenoxTeam) has stealth-released Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Campaign on PlayStation 4 this morning, with the port being released to Xbox One and PC on April 30th.
From basic training in S.S.D.D. to the thrilling climax of Endgame, the fate of the world is in your hands as you join Task Force 141 alongside Captain John Price, Gary "Roach" Sanderson, and of course, Simon “Ghost” Riley. Be prepared to fight the enemy on all fronts, even if it means going undercover, to stop this ultranationalist threat from taking over the world.
The game does launch with the controversial “No Russian” mission, and also provides some downloadable content for 2019’s Call of Duty Modern Warfare, and 2020’s Battle Royal Warzone mode. You can pick up the game right here on the PlayStation Store.
“Restoring and remastering this campaign for a new generation of players was a labor of love for our team.
