Bethesda Softworks Acquires Nova Scotia-based Indie Studio Alpha Dog Games

Bethesda Softworks have announced that Alpha Dog Games has joined their stable of development studios.

As reported in gamesindustry.biz, Bethesda senior VP of development Todd Vaughn said, "We are impressed by the team at Alpha Dog's commitment to quality and depth of experience in mobile. We're excited to have them join the Bethesda family."

Alpha Dog Games, based just outside Halifax, Nova Scotia, are known for their mobile games Ninja Golf and MonstroCity: Rampage both of which have charted in the top 100 on the App Store.

The studio is currently 10 employees plus the two co-founders Shawn Woods and Jeff Cameron, who started Alpha Dog Games in 2012.
