Sea of Stars, the Sabotage Studio follow-up to The Messenger has been delayed into 2023. Originally announced in 2020 with an extremely successful Kickstarter for a 2022 release date, the team has pushed it to next year citing two main priorities: quality of life for their team, and the quality of the finished product.

Late last year Sabotage Studios announced the game would be coming to Nintendo Switch, with their Twitter listing other platforms are “TBD”. Being big fans of The Messager and with Sea of Stars’ clear Chrono Trigger vibes, makes it one of our most anticipated games. You can wishlist it on eShop, or Steam so you know when it finally does arrive.
