Trio of Canadian Indies Featured in February Nintendo Direct

Nintendo showcased 3 upcoming Canadian indies launching on the Nintendo Switch platform during their February 8, 2023, Nintendo Direct.

First under the “Rock and ‘Role’” subheading is Montréal-based Sabotage Studio’s Kickstarter sensation turned eagerly anticipated RPG Sea of Stars, which got a trailer showing off some of the amazing music composed by Chrono Trigger composer Yasunori Mitsuda.

Then right after in the same subheading, the debut title from Waterloo, ON-based Odyssey Interactive Omega Strikers got a trailer with a planned release date of April 27, 2023, release date.

Lastly, we saw Vancouver-based Black Bird Interactive’s Minecraft Legends in the late direct sizzle real.
