GBC Toronto Global Game Jam

  • 341 King St E Toronto, ON Canada (map)

The gang over at IGDA GBC will be having their own Game Jam last weekend of January.  You can sign up for the free event on the Event Brite page. I have also posted the summary below, but follow them on Twitter to stay up to date.

The Global Game Jam (GGJ) is the world’s largest video game jam event occurring annually in late January. GGJ brings together thousands of game enthusiasts participating through many local jams around the world.

This year the event will be held at 341 King St taking over the fifth and sixth floors of the building.

We are able to provide dual boot windows and mac computers with the following programs on them:

Adobe CC

Autodesk 3DS Max

Autodesk Maya

Unity 5

Unreal Engine 4

Cinema4D

Construct2

Visual Studio

and much more...

We are also able to provide a limited number of Intuos Pro tablets for those using GBC computers. We are not able to supply the pens associated with these devices and participants wishing to use them must bring their own pen.

This year you are able to register as an individual jammer to jam alone, as a team to work together, or as a part of our skill matched teams where we create teams that have a balanced mix of skills (this is a great way to meet new people and highly encouraged for George Brown Students!).

TO PARTICIPATE IN A SKILL-MATCHED TEAM AS AN INDIVIDUAL please register as the team "Skill Team" with password "ivegotskills" :)
