The Game Discovery Exhibition (GDX) is the largest independent celebration of game dev and games culture in Canada; it showcases talent from Alberta and beyond. GDX is a conference (July 17-18) and exhibition (July 19-28). The exhibition is co-located at K-Days, the largest festival in Edmonton.

Attendees to GDX will experience video games, table top games, indie games, serious games, esports tournaments, live music, speakers, and more. GDX is an event created to promote and support indie game developers, as such, we have been able to secure enough support for this year's event to offer all approved indie developer booths for free.
