This is a beginner’s workshop for those wanting to learn the game development engine Unity. Put on by Dames Making Games, this event will be the first in a two-part series, with the second workshop happening on December 15, 2019.

The event is $65 CAD for non-members, and membership to DMG can be yours for $10 CAD a month (or less if you’re strapped for cash).

DMG says on the event page to:

Arrive with a mouse and laptop with version 2019.2 of Unity and Visual Studio already installed - give yourself about an hour to install this program at home. You can select Visual Studio as an option during the Unity install.

A limited number of computers and mice will be available at DMG, so be sure to reserve one if you don’t have your own to bring.
