Alakajam #3 is this weekend! It's a 48 hours long online jam inspired by Ludum Dare.
How it Works
In Alakajam, everyone votes on themes submitted by their fellow jammers. After a 3 week voting process, the top 10 themes get announced then everyone votes on their favorite.
The second the jam starts, the chosen theme from those top 10 gets announced. Participants then have 48 hours to make the best game they can that utilizes the theme in some way.
Once the game is done and submitted, there is a 2 week voting period where everyone plays and rates each other's games.
Once the votes are in, a winner gets crowned and get's bragging rights and a badge on their game.
It's running from Friday June 22 (3pm) to Sunday June 24 (3pm) for those that are interested!
We'll share all local games made for the jam in a piece here once the jam is over.
Let's show them what Toronto devs can do!
