Dauntless Devs Announce New Game 'Fae Farm' Coming Exclusively to Switch

Vancouver-based live service game devs Phoenix Labs (@PhoenixLabs), best known for Dauntless, have announced their new project Fae Farm (@fae_farm) in today’s Nintendo Direct- which will launch exclusively on Switch in Spring 2023.

Fae Farm is being pitched as a cozy farm-sim RPG for 1-4 player, with the trailer description reading “Craft, cultivate, and decorate to grow your shared homestead—and use spellbinding magic to explore the enchanted island of Azoria.”

Dauntless Labs was originally founded in 2014 by several former Riot Games devs to work on their debut project Dauntless which launched in open beta in 2018 and came to consoles in 2019.

The studio grew substantially and got acquired in 2020 by Singaporean publisher Garena, and then opened more studios in Los Angeles and Montréal.
