Mario Strikers: Battle League Getting 2nd Free Content Update

Vancouver-based Next Level Games are releasing a 2nd free content update for their wacky sports game released earlier this year, published by Nintendo.

No date was given other than “this month” so expect it soon.

The update adds 2 new characters in Pauline and Diddy Kong, more gear, another stadium and Striker Ranking, which “shows your individual ranking based on battle records of online matches in Quick Battle mode, and most online matches in Strikers Club mode.”

The first free update added Shy Guy and Daisy, it was released July 21 just a month after the game itself was released on June 10.

Nintendo acquired the studio in 2021 after working with them for almost two decades on other Nintendo properties.
