Kaiju Wars Roars onto Consoles

Saskatoon-based Foolish Mortals (@Foolish_M_Games) have released their turn-based strategy game Kaiju Wars on Xbox One and PlayStation 4 (playable on PS5 and Xbox Series S|X).

The ports were developed in partnership with the Polish publishing house Klabater.

Pitched as “Advanced Wars meets Godzilla” the game was released in April of this year on Steam to Very Positive reviews.

Kaiju Wars is Foolish Mortals’ latest project since Radio General was released on PC in April of 2020.

We interviewed lead developer Michael Long about the project at the time and the challenges of launching a game as COVID-19 had us all working from home.
