All the Canadian Indies Showcased in the ID@Xbox Spotlight
/ID@Xbox Senior Director Chris Charla unveiled a list of unreleased indie games coming to the Xbox platform across Xbox One and Windows, several of which are developed in Canada!
Many of these games are launching as part of Xbox Gamepass, Microsoft’s monthly game subscription service, as well as Xbox’s Play Anywhere program where games support cloud saves across console and PC.
We’ve noted the studio, location and whether or not it’s launching on Xbox Game Pass (@XboxGamePass) and/or supports Xbox Play Anywhere.
Spiritfarer (from @ThunderLotus in Montréal, QC) – Xbox Game Pass, Xbox Play Anywhere

Atomicrops (published by Raw Fury & developed by a small remote team with lead artist @tbdxn in Toronto, ON)
Atomicrops is an action-packed roguelite farming simulator where you must cultivate and defend the last farm in the post-apocalypse wasteland. Farm mutated crops, marry townsfolk, and kill every mutant creature that tries to invade!
Ikenfell (published by Humble Bundle & developed by @ChevyRay in Vancouver, BC) – Xbox Game Pass
A turn based-tactical RPG about a group of troublesome magic students. Mayhem in Single Valley (published by tinyBuild & developed by @FluxscopicLtd in Kitchener, ON) – Announced for Xbox One
Mayhem in Single Valley is an action-adventure mixing a Zelda-like world with the supernatural feel of Stranger Things. Local boy Jack was to leave home for a new life in the city, but the plans changed as the radioactive spillage finds its way into the river and starts the apocalypse.
Unto the End (published by Big Sugar & developed by @2TonStudios, a Canadian husband + wife team living in Berkley, CA) – Xbox Game Pass, Xbox Play Anywhere
