The Outlast Trials Getting Closed Beta Halloween Weekend

Montréal-based Red Barrels (@TheRedBarrels) will be running a closed beta this upcoming Halloween weekend for their third full release in their Outlast franchise- The Outlast Trials, a co-op multiplayer survival-horror game set to release on PC at some time in the future.

Gotta be older to watch this one- picture creepy, gory first-person co-operative Outlast gameplay cut up with type-writer delivered trailer words.

The beta is set to run fittingly over Halloween weekend: October 28 to November 1, 2022.

Red Barrels promises “more news and updates on how to sign up for and what to expect from the Closed Beta” at a later date.

The Outlast franchise features 2 titles and a DLC prequel for the first Outlast. The Outlast Trials was first announced via Red Barrel’s Facebook page in December of 2019. Red Barrels originally announced the game would release in 2021 but it was delayed to an unknown future date.
