Relic's Age of Empires IV Getting Anniversary Update, Franchise Turns 25 Years Old

This October, Vancouver-based Relic Entertainment’s (@relicegames) Age of Empires IV and the Age of Empires franchise are celebrating significant anniversaries- turning 1 year and 25 years old respectively.

To celebrate the anniversary, Relic is making Age of Empires IV free from right now until Monday, August 29th at 10:00 am PT on Steam and Microsoft Store, as well as putting the title on a 50% discount.

Age of Empires IV is also getting two new civilizations in the Ottomans and Malians.

Further celebrations of the anniversaries include the Red Bull Wololo: Legacy tournament in October and “even more plans to share with you soon” promised on Relic’s blog announcement of the news.
