New Backbone Game Announced For 2022
/ Stephen CraneThe 2021 indie game from developer Eggnut, Backbone, is already getting another entry into the franchise, slated for this year - but for now, that is all we know. We’ll have to wait a bit longer to get more details. Backbone came out last year for PC, Xbox, and PlayStation where you play as raccoon private eye Howard Lotor and explore dystopian Vancouver.
Backbone is inspired by film noir, weird sci-fi, post-soviet aesthetics, modern political regimes, the works of Lynch and Kaufman, and existential philosophy of Sartre. It is a linear, cinematic narrative experience that subverts genre and challenges your perception of what it means to be a person.
