Sea of Stars Announced For Nintendo Switch, Still Looks Beautiful
/ Stephen CraneSabotage Studios announced late last year that their Chrono Trigger inspired RPG will be coming to Nintendo Switch when it launches later this year. The game smashed its Kickstarter goal from a few years ago and has even brought on Chrono Trigger/Cross composer Yasunori Mitsuda to work on the games soundtrack.
The followup to the best-selling 2018 title The Messenger and set in the same universe, Sea of Stars tells the story of the Children of the Solstice, uniting players with Valere and Zale, youths fated to become Solstice Warriors. Combining their Sun and Moon powers to perform Eclipse Magic, they are pledged to fight the monstrous creations of the evil alchemist known as The Fleshmancer.

Interestingly enough, in the press release the studio confirms more platform releases will be announced later this year and ”…though the studio is adamant that if more time is needed to publish a polished, high quality product that timeframe may shift, citing quality as the highest priority for the coming title.” So don’t be surprised if this gets pushed to 2023, either way it looks beautiful and we can’t wait.
