Ubisoft Believes Watch Dogs 2 Could Be Highest Selling Ubisoft Game Ever

According to Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot, the open world game Watch Dogs 2 could be one of the highest selling game in Ubisoft's history. As posted by Gamespot, Guillemot said on a recent earnings call: "Watch Dogs 2 has the potential to be one of Ubisoft's best-selling games of all time".

"He said he's confident in the gameplay and story advancements the team has made for the sequel, specifically citing the game's "more seamless" online functionality and co-op. The game also has "engaging" characters and a "relevant storyline" inspired by hacker culture, he said."

As of December 31st, 2014 the original game had sold 10 million copies, Ubisoft Toronto is helping out with the sequel in some capacity. Watch Dogs 2 was released at this year's E3, and is slated for release November 15th on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Steam.
