Square Enix Opens New Studio in Québec

Square Enix announced this week that they would be opening a new R&D studio in Sherbrooke, Québec dubbed Eidos-Sherbrooke (@EidosSherbrooke).

This new studio will be focused on "exploring, testing and applying new technologies to create the video games of tomorrow.”

Eidos-Sherbrooke is to open this fall, with 20 full-time employees and a target of around 100 staff within five years. It will start its activities remotely, with premises not due to open until early 2021.
