“I feel remarkably similar to when we launched the original Mass Effecttrilogy,” said Casey Hudson, General Manager of BioWare. “I’m excited, anxious and incredibly proud of what our team has accomplished. I sincerely hope our players enjoy what we have created, and I look forward to the countless stories we’ll tell in the world of Anthem in the weeks and months to come.”
Anthemalso delivers amazing characters and deep lore that allows players to immerse themselves in the world and embrace its mysteries, as well as regular new content that will change the world and keep the experience fresh and new. In the game, players will square off against the nefarious Monitor, the leader of the militaristic Dominion who seeks to bend the very powers of creation and destruction to his will. The Freelancers must thwart the Monitor’s schemes to control the Anthem of Creation, or else he could tear the entire world apart and plunge the planet into ultimate chaos.
Launch is just the beginning for Anthem, as the game will continue to grow and evolve through free live service content updates. Over the next 90 days alone the game will deliver new missions, new rewards, a new stronghold and more. Perhaps the most noteworthy inclusion will be the introduction of the first Cataclysm, a world-changing event that will bring with it an entirely new experience. During the course of the game’s life new stories, characters and villains will emerge and players will be treated to ongoing excitement and conflicts.

Anthem Gets A New Story Trailer
/With the rebranding to Canadian made games, we can now focus out attention other parts of Canada including the great province Alberta, where Bioware has been making great games since the mid-90's. Most gamers know about Bioware from Baulder's Gate, Star Wars Knight of the Old Republic, or Mass Effect. However they actually haven't released a game since 2014's Dragon Quest: Inquisition.
Enter: Anthem. Announced at E3 2017, and promised a February 21st 2019 release date, Bioware showed off some a new story trailer from PAX West this last weekend.
We'll have more on Anthem in the coming months - it'll hit PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC next year on February 21st.
Bioware announced what everyone kind of expected; Anthem is done, and will not be seeing any future updates. The rumored updated Anthem Next had been shown and teased a bit in the past, but nothing concrete. Anthem servers will remain online for the foreseeable future though.
