Blue Isle Studios Announces Citadel: Forged with Fire

Teased earlier in the week, Blue Isle Studios formally announced their next game - Citadel: Forged with Fire.  The game looks like a combination of Skyrim with some Harry Potter wand magic you'll play as a "newly minted apprentice of the magic arts" and will have complete freedom to shape their own destiny.

Welcome to the magical world of Ignus: a 36 square kilometer landmass of sweeping plains, dense forests, craggy mountains, festering swamps and frozen tundra. Leave no stone unturned as you explore dangerous caves and ancient ruins to recover powerful artifacts and uncover a rich history spanning thousands of years. Embark on a journey across the land to find the perfect place for you and your allies to call home.

You can check out the trailer below, and head over to the Steam page to check it out. The game will hit Early Access on July 26th with a full release planned for early 2018.

Clapfoot Games Now Working On MMO War Game 'Foxhole'

Coming off the heels of Fortified (which I think is a lot of fun), Claptfoot Games let me know they are officially working on Foxhole, a massive multiplayer online game where you work and fight with players in a never ending war. It's currently in an early stage, having just released 0.0.4 version on Steam a few days ago.

"Foxhole is a massively multiplayer game where you will work with hundreds of players to shape the outcome of a persistent online war. This is the ultimate game of collaborative strategy and tactics. Every action you take can have a powerful and permanent effect across a vast world in a constant state of war."

You can download the Alpha version of the game on Steam right now, and check out the team on Twitter and PAX.

Fantasy Tales Online Hits Steam Early Access

Indie developer Cold Tea Studio, which is comprised of a team of three, one of whom is located in Toronto, have released their Free to Play MMORPG onto Steam Early Access.

"The player is an adventurer, who is thrown into a dangerous world, in which he only can survive, if he forms guilds, completes quests, collects gear, fights through dungeons, and most importantly - constructs a player town."

The game features a wide range of customization options for the players character, randomly generating dungeons, players towns and more. You can check out the trailer and screenshots below:

You can download the game for free right here on their Steam page. While also following the developer on Twitter, and joining their player forum.
