Vertex Pop Releasing Twin-Stick Shooter WE ARE DOOMED On Nintendo Switch
/Hot off the heels of releasing Super Crush KO earliest this year, Toronto developer Vertex Pop will be releasing their debut game WE ARE DOOMED on the Nintendo Switch on August 13th.
WE ARE DOOMED is a twin-stick shooter, that originally released on Steam, PlayStation 4, Vita (!!!), and Xbox One back in August of 2015. The game will join the other Vertex Pop Switch releases, Graceful Explosion Machine, and Super Crush KO.
WE ARE DOOMED is coming out on August 13th, for $7.99 (€6.99), with a 15% launch week discount. As a huge thank you to their fans, owners of Super Crush KO or Graceful Explosion Machine will receive a 40% discount.

Dive head-first into the action with reckless abandon, charge the SUPERBEAM, and blast everything out of existence in an instant. Chase high scores or just enjoy the beautiful explosion of geometry, colour, and light.
The game features multiple score-chasing modes, including Waves Mode, pitting the player against 30 waves ranging from chill to hyper-intense, and an Endless Mode that asks how many waves you can survive.
The game features a set of easy to learn, hard to master mechanics with waves that are quick to start and restart. Play the game that started Vertex Pop’s love of vibrant colours, bold shapes, and beautiful, pulsing geometry. Blast enemies while enjoying a chill, and occasionally glitchy soundscape in this fast-paced and action-packed title.
