Released earlier last year on Steam, indie developer Will O'Neill is brining his latest game Little Red Lie to PlayStation 4, and PlayStation Vita - better yet the game is releasing today (January 9th)
Little Red Lie is a narrative-focused, interactive fiction experience that reduces the traditional nine-verb adventure game structure down to a single, context-dependent interaction: lie.
As announced last month, Will O'Neill's narrative focused game Little Red Lie is out now on Steam. The game will have you navigate conversations and environments recurring you to lie to yours and others.
Living in a common time and place, Little Red Lie alternates you through the perspectives of two individuals who never meet, but who are deeply connected nevertheless. Explore the dynamics of their lives, relationships and decisions as both of them come face-to-face with the consequences of who they are and where they come from.
You can pick up the game on Steam right here, which is currently 15% off.
It's been a while since we've heard from Will O'Neill, who last released Actual Sunlight on Vita
(long live Vita). His next game, Little Red Lie was announced almost two years ago, and now we'll get a chance to play the story driven game next month on July 7th. The game is described as being "about debt, family, and the truth about honesty."
You'll play as Sarah Stone, a middle-age office administrator, and Arthur Fox, a wealthy motivational speaker. The two characters will never meet but are still deeply connected. Check out the trailer below, and full details on the website here.
After announcing the game not to long ago, indie developer Will O'Neill has released a trailer for his upcoming interactive short story Little Red Lie. The game is said to be about "debt, family, and the truth about honesty."
Little Red Lie is planned for release in Early 2016. Stayed tuned to TorontoGameDevs.com for the latest on the game, and everything going on in the Toronto game developer scene.
Now, we know he is also creating Little Red Lie, a short story adventure game set in Scarborough:
"Inspired by the growing gap in wealth and stability between the baby boomers and their descendants, the game takes place in the relatively near future, and speculates a world in which major financial institutions begin to shift strategically towards securing the only asset of a generation with little to no value: Their inheritances.
In the midst of this final collapse, you take control of two people living on either side of this equation. The contrast in their fates - and what it reveals - is only the foundation of what is ultimately a drama about debt, family and the truth about honesty."
