Indie darling Cuphead has shipped 5 million copies across PC, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch and is on sale to celebrate!Read More
Announced at E3 2018, Cuphead is getting DLC titled ‘The Delicious Last Course’ which was originally planned for Spring 2019. Similar to the base game though, the DLC has been delayed to 2020.
Studio MDHR wants to make sure the new game “meets the meticulous level of care and quality we always strive for. It's also important to use that we make things in a way that's healthy and sustainable for our team.” and thus opted to push the DLC. Considering the first game is regarded as one of the best games on Xbox One the originals often delayed status worked out in the end. Check out the trailer below!

Well if you have a PlayStation 4 then you can’t play Studio MDHR’s hit Cuphead - however if you have an Xbox One, PC, Switch and now…a Tesla car, then you can. Announced by Tesla CEO Elon Musk on their weekly podcast, and posted by IGN - the gang at Tesla has gotten Cuphead working on their cars and will be available on Tesla's Model 3, Model S, and Model X by the end of the year.
“"Cuphead, we've got working," Musk said. "[The developers] have been helping us make it work. It's a cool game. It's insanely difficult. It's sadistically difficult. It's a twisted plot. It's dark. It looks like some cute little Disney thing and you're like, 'This plot is very dark'," he added with a laugh.”
Cuphead came out in 2017 and was a smash hit. DLC titled “The Delicious Last Course” was announced at last year’s E3 and we’re hoping to hear about it more…perhaps at this years E3.
Redbull Gaming has worked on a video series on innovative video games, and Episode 1 was based on Studio MDHR’s Cuphead - titled ‘When risking everything pays off ‘ - you can check it out below.

As mentioned earlier in the week Cuphead was up for three nominations at The Game Awards, and took home three wins. They won:
- Best Art Direction
- Best Independent Game
- Best Debut Indie Game
It was even recongnized by Canada's Prime Minister:
A big congratulations to all the nominations, and winners. While Warframe was nominated for Best Ongoing Game, last years Game of the Year Overwatch took home the prize for that.
