Another new game from a Canadian developer was released today, though for some it’s just an update. Lost Orbit: Terminal Velocity is out now on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Steam and Switch. Lost Orbit originally came to Steam and PlayStation 4 back in 2015, and PixelNAUTS Games have added a slew of updates to the game, including new levels - which are available for previous Playstation 4 owners.

Montreal, Canada -- June 17th, 2019 -- Blazing Bit Games reveals today the release date for their new retro first person shooter game, Nightmare Reaper, launching in Steam Early Access for Windows July 16th 2019. Explore the cursed depths of a nightmare while finding powerful weapons and improving your abilities in this new indie game that breaches the wall between the classics and modern sensibilities.

The polished Early Access release of the game, titled "Episode One", will feature over 32 weapons and will be crammed with variety and surprises. Mysterious non-intrusive story elements will guide players through nightmare after nightmare to eradicate evil while they collect treasures that they'll use to improve their abilities through a fun minigame.

Lost Orbit: Terminal Velocity Releasing On Playstation 4, Xbox One, Steam and Switch Next Month

Released back in 2016, Lost Orbit from Pixelnaut Games is getting a rerelease on Playstation 4, Xbox One, Steam and for the first time, Nintendo Switch. However this won’t be just a simple port job, the gang at Pixelnaut has gone back and added new levels and challenges, added a cinematic retelling of the original story, as well as other tweaks and changes to the gameplay.

Lost Orbit: Terminal Velocity features a new epilogue to continue the story. After the events of Harrisons journey across the universe our hero is reunited with his sister only to find out that things are much worse than he thought possible. Space pirates roam the system salvaging whatever they can all the while Ferro Corp is rounding up refugees and forcing them into labor contracts. Harrison sets off on a mission of escaping the chaos that was once his home world in hopes of finding more survivors and a place to call his own.

Launching July 16th on PlayStation®4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and Steam (PC, Mac, Linux) Prepare to once again embark on a perilous journey filled with deadly asteroids, orbital boosts and the emptiness of space, but this time escape space pirates and more in LOST ORBIT: Terminal Velocity, the definitive version of the fast-paced, dodge 'em up game from PixelNAUTS Games.

The game will be a free update to people who already own the game, and for the first time can be picked up on Nintendo Switch, as well as Playstation 4, Xbox One, and Steam on July 16th.

Road to E3 2019 - Marvel's Avengers Will Make Its Debut

One of the most anticipated game at this year’s E3 will no doubt be Marvel’s Avengers from Edios Montreal and Crystal Dynamics. The game was actually announced a little while ago, but very little has been shown. Square Enix announced a few days ago that we will get our first glimpse of the game at this year’s E3.

Since this, a few things have gone out like IGN reporting that the game will have “continuous” single-player, and co-operative gameplay. We’ll have to wait a little while longer to get the full look though and see what that means, and we’ll be sure to post it here on CanadianGamedevs.com
