Rainbow Six Siege Starting Limited-Time In-Game Event: Showdown

Ubisoft is running the latest event for Rainbow Six Siege - titled ‘Showdown’. The event will run until July 16th and feature a 3 vs 3 game mode on an exclusive map, Fort Truth. You can check out the full trailer below.

Montreal — July 2, 2019 — Today, Ubisoft® released Showdown, a Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six® Siege limited-time in-game event. Showdown will introduce an all-new game mode only for the brave of heart. Set under the burning sun of Fort Truth, an all-new limited time map, Showdown will include exclusive in-game content for all players that participate throughout the length of the event.
Available from July 2 to July 16, this trip back to the gunslinger wild west will introduce a tension-filled 3 vs 3 game mode with a “secure area type” exclusive map, Fort Truth. This limited game mode will see two trios of Attackers and Defenders competing with only a BOSG.12.2 and a Magnum LFP586 in hand to face off against each other. Moreover, Showdown will introduce a limited HUD where health, ammo, and crosshairs are stripped away, and no preparation phase is allowed.
The Showdown event will introduce 31 western-themed exclusive items. Showdown exclusive items will include full wild west outfits composed of various items, alongside headgear that players can acquire for 10 operators.
Players that log in during the event will get a free Showdown Collection Pack and can complete the Ubisoft Club Event challenges to earn a pack and a unique weapon skin for the BOSG.12.2. Players can also purchase the Showdown packs for 300 R6 Credits.

Cuphead DLC - The Delicious Last Course - Gets A New Teaser Trailer And 2020 Release Date

Announced at E3 2018, Cuphead is getting DLC titled ‘The Delicious Last Course’ which was originally planned for Spring 2019. Similar to the base game though, the DLC has been delayed to 2020.

Studio MDHR wants to make sure the new game “meets the meticulous level of care and quality we always strive for. It's also important to use that we make things in a way that's healthy and sustainable for our team.” and thus opted to push the DLC. Considering the first game is regarded as one of the best games on Xbox One the originals often delayed status worked out in the end. Check out the trailer below!

Lost Orbit: Terminal Velocity Releasing On Playstation 4, Xbox One, Steam and Switch Next Month

Released back in 2016, Lost Orbit from Pixelnaut Games is getting a rerelease on Playstation 4, Xbox One, Steam and for the first time, Nintendo Switch. However this won’t be just a simple port job, the gang at Pixelnaut has gone back and added new levels and challenges, added a cinematic retelling of the original story, as well as other tweaks and changes to the gameplay.

Lost Orbit: Terminal Velocity features a new epilogue to continue the story. After the events of Harrisons journey across the universe our hero is reunited with his sister only to find out that things are much worse than he thought possible. Space pirates roam the system salvaging whatever they can all the while Ferro Corp is rounding up refugees and forcing them into labor contracts. Harrison sets off on a mission of escaping the chaos that was once his home world in hopes of finding more survivors and a place to call his own.

E3 2019: Watch Dogs: Legion Announced

Ubisoft has announced the next game in the Watch Dogs franchise, titled Watch Dogs: Legion will be coming March 6th 2020 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC, and Google Stadia. Ubisoft Toronto took centered stage in the press release as the driving force behind the games biggest draw - being able to play as anyone.

Thanks to a never-before-seen gameplay innovation created by Ubisoft Toronto*, the studio behind Watch Dogs: Legion, players will have complete freedom to ‘Play as Anyone.’ Every Londoner in the open world is fully simulated, with a persistent life and backstory, and players can recruit anyone from the entire population into their team. In the near future, London is facing its downfall: people are being oppressed by an all-seeing surveillance state, a corrupt private military corporation controls the streets, and a powerful crime syndicate is preying on the most vulnerable. In Watch Dogs: Legion, the player’s mission is to build a resistance to fight back against the emergence of an authoritarian regime.

Thanks to a never-before-seen gameplay innovation created by Ubisoft Toronto*, the studio behind Watch Dogs: Legion, players will have complete freedom to ‘Play as Anyone.’ Every Londoner in the open world is fully simulated, with a persistent life and backstory, and players can recruit anyone from the entire population into their team. Every character also has unique gameplay traits, based on their profile. Once they join the team, players choose their class, level them up, and unlock new abilities and upgrades. They can easily swap between them and approach the challenges of the game the way they want using hacking and drones, stealth, melee or combat, lethal or non-lethal.

In Watch Dogs: Legion, the players' choices have real consequences. If non-lethal force is used, the enemy will attempt to subdue and arrest the player. But if the player shoots to kill, their characters could be wounded or even permanently killed.

In Watch Dogs: Legion, players can even bring their unique team online and team up with their friends in four-player co-op, while sharing their progression between single-player and online.

In addition, Ubisoft announced the Gold, Ultimate and Collector’s Editions** for Watch Dogs: Legion:

• Gold Edition includes the base game and the Season Pass.

• Ultimate Edition includes Gold Edition and Ultimate digital content, including four weeks VIP Status to earn experience and currency faster.

• Collector’s Edition includes the Ultimate Edition plus the LED Ded Coronet Mask Replica, an exclusive Steelbook®, a set of three stickers and a recto-verso propaganda poster, all inspired by the game's universe, and instant access to the mask in-game. Fans who purchase the Gold, Ultimate or Collector’s editions will be able to get the game up to three days early from the standard release date. Moreover, Ubicollectibles revealed Watch Dogs: Legion: Resistant of London, its new figurine inspired directly from the world of Watch Dogs. This 26 cm figurine shows a DedSec operative in an iconic pose, wearing either the Winston mask or the King of Hearts mask (as two switchable masks will be included) and stepping defiantly on an Albion mercenary’s helmet as a proud member of London's resistance. This piece holds a burnt Black Jack flag, the symbol of the city’s decay. On top of that, a unique ULC code that unlocks the in-game mask “King of Hearts” will be included for free.
