Cally's Cave 4 Out Now On iOS

Local London Developer Jordan Pearson has released Cally's Cave 4 on iOS for free today - a run and gun action game which features over 300 levels, and 88 weapons to play with. 

"It’s time for Cally’s biggest adventure ever! On a mission to cure her friend Rupert’s curse, Cally must embark on a journey across the globe. Along the way, Cally will make new friends, discover a new arch-nemesis, and fight her way through hordes of enemies on the way to becoming the greatest hero in the world! Do you have what it takes to fight a secret society that holds the only thing that can save Rupert? Take on the challenge in the action platformer, Cally's Caves 4!"

Cally's Cave 4 Coming To iOS Next Month

We now have a release month, and platform for Cally's Cave 4. The developer announced via Twitter that the platformer shooter will be coming to iOS next month. The previous game can be picked up on Steam and iOS.

Cally’s Caves 4 picks up three years after the end of Cally’s Caves 3, with Cally and her friends searching for a cure for Rupert’s Curse.  Cally will set out on a worldwide journey to find “The Amulet of Valerius,” an artifact that she believes can cure Rupert and give him a normal life.  As the story unfolds, Team Cally will uncover the origins of a secret society that controls the world, and meet a new nemesis that threatens to destroy everything that Cally loves.

Cally's Trials Out Now On Steam

In the midst of E3, VDOGames have released Cally's Trials on Steam.  You can get the game right here, which does have a 10% discount going on.  You can also enter an art competition to win a free copy of the game.

Cally's Trials Announced - Coming To Steam June 14th

The developer behind Cally's Caves 2, and 3 have announced a new game in the Cally's Cave's series, this time with rogue-like RPG Cally's Trials:

Cally's Cave 2 Gets A Big Update On iOS And Android - Heading To Steam

London based developer VDO Games have announced a big free update has arrived to their mobile platform Cally's Cave 2.  The update brings the engine for Cally's Caves 3 to Cally's Caves 2 in addition to "a ton of improvements will come with it".  If you don't want to play the game on your Android, or iOS device, you're in luck - the indie developer also announced Cally's Cave 2 will be coming to Steam.

The developer is still busy away working on another title as well, which they've promised to have an update for us shortly.  Until then, follow the developer on Twitter!

What Did Patreons Get In January?

Okay, so I missed this in December (Patreons did get rewards, I just didn't write the post), so we're back with a recap for what they got in January.  Remember, you can become a Patreon by going here. Anything you can help with is much appreciated.  

There actually wasn't any interview in January, but we got one lined up for February already.  The podcast is recorded on either Saturday, or Sunday by Dan, Bret and myself and Patreons always get that early on the weekend, while I post it for the general public on Monday.

On the game front, there were two games.  Cally's Cave's 3 released on Steam in January, and Patreon's were given a copy of the game.  Matt Kap also donated some codes for Castle In The Darkness for Patreons on Steam.  

Thanks again to everyone who help grow TorontoGameDevs.com everyday.  If you can spare a few dollars a month, Patreon money goes a long way (all money goes to the site, it's not a revenue generator for me).  So check out the page if you can.  If you can't, that's 100% fine, I understand! Cally's Cave 3 Releases This Week On Steam

Cally's Cave 3, the indie platformer developed over in London was released on iOS a few months ago. Following a successful Steam Greenlight, the game will now release on PC's this Tuesday.  The game will be $7.79 here in Canada, with the soundtrack going for $4.49. You can get the two bundled together for $10.99.

Furthermore! The developer is currently running a contest! You can check out the full details here, but if you do some fan art of the game and email the developer at jordanfwc@gmail.com before January 4th, you'll get a Steam copy of the game.  The favourite entry will also get a Steam copy of Rocket League.

Free Expansion For Cally's Caves 3 Coming Next Week

The developers behind Cally's Caves 3 announced today that an free expansion pack will be coming to the game next week.  The expanions, titled Melvin’s Prototype Factory, will include a new 34 level zone, new weapons, new enemies, as well as some bug fixes.

You can check out the full breakdown over at developers blog. They also made note that another free expansion is planned for before Christmas, with an announcement of their next project after that.  Make sure to download the game on iOS, or Android for free today.
