Cuphead Gets Patched

Cuphead got patched the other day to fix some bugs and exploits, and general gameplay balance. Cuphead has been in the news a lot lately, confirming that the characters will return, and being nominated for awards. You can check out the full patch notes below - which sadly gets rid of the duplication/army bug.

• Fixed various freezes caused by controller disconnection/reconnection
• Fixed infinite controller rumble bug
• Fixed various freezes and soft-locks and crashes
• Improvements to saving and loading
• No longer possible to create a Mugman army.
• Fixed rapid-weapon-swap damage glitch
• Slight charge weapon damage reduction
• Charge weapon charge is now maintained during parry
• It is now possible to unequip secondary weapon, Super, and Charm from equipment menu (Press “Y” to unequip)
• Mr. Chimes no longer gets stuck or goes off-screen
• King Dice’s Start Over square will now only trigger once per attempt
• Player 2 now appears in the King Dice board after being revived at the end of a mini-boss level
• Dice Palace score now properly resets when retrying the level
• Fixed improper hit boxes on the Devil’s snake attack
• Fixed Devil’s goat attack so it hits ducking players
• Elevator on Rugged Ridge no longer locks if Player 1 dies
• A+ grade now possible on Funfair Fever and Treetop Trouble
• No longer possible to damage bosses that are off-screen
• Fixed rare crash when parrying on Carnival Kerfuffle
• Fixed Roundabout shots not coming back on screen on select stages
• Baroness Von Bon Bon death results now properly displays progress on phase 3
• Dr. Kahl’s Robot death results now properly displays progress on phase 1
• Fixed various minor collision bugs
• Various art and animation polish
• Minor sound effect bug fixes and polish
• Added spooky Mausoleum announcer
• Touch fuzzy, get a little dizzy

Cuphead and Warframe Represent Southern Ontario In Game Awards

The Video Game Awards will be next week on December 7th, and a few local games are up for rewards - with Cuphead grabbing 10 nominations for the following:

Best Art Direction, Best Score/Music, Best Action Game, Best Independent Game, and Best Debut Indie Game

Warframe is also up for nomination for Best Ongoing and consider it just got the big Plains of Eidolon update, it has a decent change of winning.

Warframe: Plains of Eidolon Available Now On Consoles

What came to PC last month is now available on consoles. Warframes latest patch, titled Plains of Eidolon, which includes an open-space landscape (called the Plains of Eidolon), new resources to collect and a day-night cycle.

"Welcome to the Plains of Eidolon. Sentients once fought on this battleground in an attempt to destroy a massive Orokin Tower that the Ostrons now call home. The Sentients' defeat is forever immortalized in the ancient graveyard that litters the Landscape.

Time in the Plains cycles the same for all Tenno. For every 100 minutes of beautiful sunshine, there are 50 minutes of haunted night"

Studio MDHR Says Cuphead "Guaranteed" To Return

Talking to IGN, the gang from Studio MDHR confirmed that it's "guaranteed" that we'll see Cuphead again at some point. Before you get to excited though, it might be a ways off:

"But as far as what are our plans, what are we distinctly doing next, there's been zero time to really breathe or think," Jared added before Chad chimed in to note they "would have had two 30-minute chats about the future."

Given that the game quickly sold a million copies, this isn't a surprise. Maybe the next one will come to PlayStation 4.

Cuphead Devs Face Off With IGN

Cuphead came out last September, and IGN had the gang from Studio MDHR face each other off. Turns out even the developers have a difficult time with the game. Check it out below - Cuphead is out now on PC and Xbox One.

Far Cry 5 Co-Op Trailer

With Paris Games Week happening, we already found out about Gucamelee! 2 - and now we get a new trailer for a game we already knew about: Far Cry 5. Cuphead Hits Huge Sales Milestone

Studio MDHR have announced that Cuphead, which released late last month, has passed the one million units sold mark. This would be across Xbox One, and PC.

Way Of The Passive Fist Gets Steam Page - Aimed For Early 2018 Release

Here's something we missed, but Way of the Passive Fist now has a Steam page in which you can add the game to your wishlist. On the page as well, it says it will be available early 2018. The game is also expected to hit PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.

A mysterious figure known only as the Wanderer travels across the distant planet of Zircon V, a once prosperous mining colony that is now on the brink of destruction in the face of its dying star. Metanet Software Bringing N++ To Xbox One October 4th

We got the PlayStation 4 release, then it came to Steam. They then announced an Xbox One version and now we know when it's happening, and it's soon! N++ is coming to Xbox One this Wednesday.

Cuphead Out Now For Xbox One and PC

It's finally here. After being announced at Microsoft's E3 conference in 2014, and suffering a few delays - Cuphead is available for the masses on Xbox One and PC. You can check out the launch trailer below, and pick it up on Steam, or on the Xbox store.

Reptoid Games Successful On Kickstarter - Fossil Hunters Coming To Switch, PS4, Xbox One, and Steam

We did it! At the time of writing, there is 24 hours left in the Kickstarter for Fossil Hunters and they have gotten to $35199 of their $35000 goal. Reptoid Games also announced that their game will be coming to Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One along with the original Steam release. The Kickstarter has an "estimated delivery date" of March 2018.

Let's Play - Maize - First 15 Minutes

Maize came out recently on PlayStation 4, and Xbox, so we played a bit.
