Double Stallion Releases Speed Brawl On Pretty Much Everything

Montreal based studio Double Stallion have released their combat-racer Speed Brawl on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC, and Nintendo Switch.

London, 1888. After a decade of war with the Lunar invaders we named the Selenites, the British Empire finally vanquished the insect-like menace thanks to a dashing officer by the name of Hugo Wells. He crushed the colony’s queen and in doing so cemented his status as both a hero of the empire and the de facto patriarch of the drone-like Selenites.

Super Animal Royale Enters Alpha - Gets A New Trailer

Pixile Studios over in Vancouver have released a trailer for their battle royale game Aniaml Royale. The game takes a cute but deadly spin on the battle royale formula, making it a top-down 64-player winner-takes-all where you’ll play as cute adorable animals. Fossil Hunters Coming To PlayStation 4 and Xbox One September 12th

Puzzle Game Bloxiq Out Now On Switch

Bloxiq was first released on Vita in 2015, and then got a VR treatment, and has now hit the Nintendo Switch in a stealth release. The puzzle game from Blot Interactive has players moving around pieces of a 3D cube:

Pirate Themed VR Game - Furious Seas Out On Steam

The Chaotic Workshop Out Now On Steam

Spoilercast! We got a new show for CanadianGameDevs.com where we'll play a game and just discuss it on end. It'll be sort of a review/spoilercast type of show.

First up is Guacamelee! 2 from DrinkBox Studios. This sequel to the 2013 indie hit dropped on PS4 and Steam last week so Bret, and I were joined by developer from the first game turned fan Jason Canam to discuss everything we liked (a lot of things) and disliked (not that many things) about DrinkBox's new game.

Kickstarter Plug: UNCAGED: World Fighters

Our friends over at ZeMind Games have taken to Kickstarter to help their card-based MMA fighting game - UNCAGED: World Fighters. If you're unfamiliar with the game, it's a card-game that looked to combine the creators love for fighting games and martial arts, and card games like Magic: The Gathering, Yu-Gi-Oh, and Pokemon.

UNCAGED: World Fighters is a 2 player card game designed to recreate the action and strategy of a Mixed Martial Arts competition.
